Support Arts Education

Since launching its arts education program, Pathways to Creativity, in 2008, the Center has served over 165,000 students through daytime student matinee performances, touring shows and after-school workshops.

Students from throughout the Central Valley region, from Sonora to Merced (and everywhere in between) have been exposed to the magic of the performing arts. In order to ensure accessibility, the Center offers student matinee tickets for only $5 per student. If you’d like to help support the Center’s arts education program, please click here.

Transportation Grants

Teachers and administrators struggle to secure funding to bus students to the Gallo Center for the Arts. Prime Shine Car Wash has generously provided funding to help offset transportation costs for schools in Stanislaus County. Other local service organizations have done the same. Just this season, the Center has been able to offer 86 transportation grants, serving over 6,000 students! If you’re interested in helping to provide transportation for local students ($200 covers the cost of 1 bus), please click here.

Costa Family Fund

A fund that was established by the Costa Family at the Gallo Center for the Arts to support programs and projects that provides access to the performing arts for underserved students. Along with their generous gift, many additional gifts have been donated by local businesses and individuals to help sustain this fund so that it can continue to support underserved youth for future years.
